Unfortunately the studio has had to take a back set to all the other work…but it is nearly finished !
There are a few bits to finish, the floor has had another coat of paint since this picture, electrics are being moved and there’s a bit of varnishing left to do. The oak beams have come up really well. The walls are white! The floor is white! – the floor will wipe clean. Five days still the floor will be fully dry!
The steel door will be coming off and is going to be replaced with a firedoor. The roof boards and roof insulation are due to go up next week.

Walls going up. Plasterboard [drywall to some] 8′ x 4′ sheets are very heavy…top floor wasn’t such a good idea.

The boards for the floor came Tuesday morning. 8′ x 4′ sheets of chipboard take a bit of moving up two flights of stairs !

Yesterday we got the keys to our new studio…
…well it will be a studio, soon !
It even included some luxury furniture…

Dad, I’m tired just thinking of what we have to do! No heating, no lights and I think the temperatrure is about -3C !!!
